Me and Kathryn went to The Mercer art gallery last Friday. We had been invited a few weeks ago but the passing of HM meant that the event had been put on the back burner.
Our tickets rolled over and the event was ripe for the taking – we were invited because I was one of the exhibiting artists.
One of the images had already sold and had been taken by my client. It was on its way to the Society of History of Natural History. Sounds fascinating – although I would be out of my depth watching Blue Planet, let alone wading through historical tomes.

Fizz was drunk, small talk was achieved – I felt awkward.
It was the first exhibition opening that I had attended and it was a different experience – probably because the only person I knew there was Kathryn. Still, the assistants were charming and made small talk; it was fun.
Will aim to do it again at some point, if they have me back.
