We have been in isolation for a good while now – our last day is on Monday and then we are out on Tuesday. Will probably head for a few pints to celebrate, if I am allowed.
I am unsure where I caught the virus from; it may have been at a pub or the supermarket – we all seemed to have come with it at the same time, the admin of the station that is.
I have been putting my time to good use; whittled www.andrewbackhouse.design in to shape.
I have been putting my time to good use; whittled www.launchlogos.co.uk in to shape.
I have also made a few radio shows.
White Lightning is the name of a show on Harrogate Community Radio, that I make – it is broadcast every Saturday at 11pm. Here is tonight’s show:
It is not my best effort, I am trying to come up with a go to formula for track selection – so that I have an ever ready, ever poised go-to set to whip out and impress would be bosses.
We found out that Deliveroo fetch from Aldi – we have been living off marshmallow brownie bombs – they’re off the charts.
Despite being penned in to the 90m2 flat, I still feel connected. Thanks to digital culture. This bodes well for the future when me and Kathryn are infirm. We have been able to keep up with friends and loved ones no matter where they are in the world.
This includes friends local to Harrogate – it is like bumping in to them in the pub but online. Some of my Harrogate friends have the virus really bad after the super spreader event. Some of my mates are on their ass.
So, as Kathryn is soundly sleeping I am taking a break from writing notes for The Jazz Show on HCR. Hoping for a better tomorrow.
