New (Scratchy) Noise

Well, the last post really seems to have spurred me in to action. I have something to blog about and…. it really is quite something! Recently it was our tenth wedding anniversary and in the middle of the celebrations we decided to form a Noise duo. We call ourselves AKB, but using the Cyrillic alphabet. Here is what it looks like, on our first release…

It is still very much a fresh-faced project but let’s hope it has legs. Whilst the instrumentation (or, lack of it?) could be seen as the main star of the show, it was Kathryn and my own mutual efforts that made this album a fun thing to make.

Where the release is titled “Answering Back” – we are only trying to silence our inner critics and we are playing for the fun of it. If you want to hear the release head HERE. It is available as a download and I hope you get the playful nature of the album.

So, a brand new project to usher in the next ten years of our marriage. I doubt we will get to play Top Of The Pops but it is a lot of good fun to make and that is what counts.
